Frequently asked questions

You get lots of support from day one, including a role-specific induction to prepare you for the job. Your future is important to us, so we provide innovative learning and development programmes tailored to your goals. And we offer you a clear career path, helping you gain qualifications (if you want to) and reach your potential as a carer.

If you’re an experienced carer who wants to gain recognised qualifications, we’ll support you. You can gain diplomas in Health & Social Care (Levels 2–5)* or a diploma in Health* through our approved apprenticeship scheme. We’ve invested heavily in the scheme and currently have over 800 apprentices.

If you simply want a career as a carer without studying for new qualifications, that’s okay too. We’ll make sure it’s fulfilling and rewarding for you.

It’s really up to you how far and where you will go. With Care UK, there’s a lot of flexibility. And if you show commitment, we’ll help you reach your potential. For example, if you complete the relevant care qualifications, you could choose a route into nursing.
