Experienced nurses

Care UK has exciting career options for experienced nurses. We’ll give you responsibility. We’ll encourage you to mentor junior colleagues and develop specialist skills. And we’ll provide training closely tailored to your personal career goals.

Returning to work

If you’re an experienced nurse who’s taken time out, maybe to bring up a family, we’ll help you with your revalidation. Moreover, we’ll provide ongoing training and a clear career path for your future.

Overseas nurses

We offer attractive career options and a friendly welcome to experienced nurses from both inside and outside the EU. You’ll receive a personalised induction to prepare you for your role. We’ll also help you with relocation and provide ongoing training.

Nurses or Clinical Lead

Deputy Manager

Home Manager or Quality & Governance

  • Become a home manager

  • Take overall responsibility for delivering high quality care in your care home

  • Drive the business performance of your home 

or work within our support centre team. For example:

  • Choose the important area of Quality & Governance

  • Work in one of three areas – Quality, Governance or Learning and Development

  • Uphold care standards, provide essential support and training to Care UK homes

Regional Director

  • Manage a region of 7–10 homes

  • Support home managers to deliver business objectives

  • Uphold clinical standards and meet performance targets
