I’m an experienced nurse and care Home Manager and I joined Care UK in early 2019. I used to work in one of the organisation’s Edinburgh care homes. Care UK’s values and ethos of care chimed with my own personal approach to care, so I was keen to join this forward-thinking organisation.

Being an effective home manager demands a range of skills, from great people skills to good organisational ability. It’s vital to have a holistic and proactive approach as well. Far and away the best part of my day is spending time with residents and seeing them enjoying a superb quality of life.

I’m passionate about delivering excellent care and I love working as part of our committed and skilled team here at Trymview Hall. We put residents and their families first and foremost in everything we do. We’re proud of our ‘good’ CQC rating, and I’m looking forward to supporting the team to achieve even greater things.
