    Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

    Base: Field based (To cover nationally - UK)

    Salary: Depending on experience plus car allowance

     

    Due to internal promotions we have an opening for an established Project Manager to focus on the development of our ambitious new build plans in Residential Care Services.

    Reporting to the Head of Care Home Development, the role will support growth through the delivery of new build projects, with values up to £10 million.

    You’ll have excellent technical ability and able to delegate and instruct external stakeholders accordingly. You’ll be experienced in cost planning and working under pressure to ensure cost, time and quality are delivered, managing expectations with various different stakeholders of the business.

    Care UK is a leading, innovative provider of health and social care services in the UK. The Residential Care division provides care and supports to over 7000 residents suffering from dementia and related conditions in 120 Care homes across the UK. The division has grown rapidly, making significant investment in enhanced facilities and new Care Homes. Our recent achievements have included opening 31 homes in the last five years, with plans to open on average 8 homes per year.

    Criteria

    • Excellent knowledge of JCT / NEC contracts and planning requirements
    • Experience in a project manager role for the delivery of new buildings
    • Ability to work to cost, timeframes and quality measures
    • Experience of risk management
    • Ability to liaise with various senior stakeholders including HR, Marketing, Operations, Planners in order to achieve a successful outcome and opening of new buildings
