    Due to continued growth Care UK are seeking a Recruitment Team Leader to provide strong leadership to a team of Resourcing Advisors, ensuring recruitment targets are achieved, recruitment processes are being managed effectively and recruitment best practice is being championed, all in accordance with Care UK recruitment policies and procedures. Work with Business Partners to deliver the resourcing strategy to meet the needs of the business and manage key stakeholder relationships.  Provide hands on recruitment support to business critical homes and regions.

     
    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and motivate a team of Resourcing Advisors to deliver against business objectives
    • Set and review KPIs, monitor performance and conduct year end and mid-year appraisals
    • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members to develop appropriate skill sets
    • Recruit, induct and train new team members as directed
    • Hold weekly meetings to share best practice and promote team working
    • Produce MI and reports to be used by the wider team and Business Partners as required
    • Use MI to influence across the team how we recruit including reducing time to hire, cost per hire and ensuring efficiencies throughout the selection process
    • Attend agency calls across the region to gain an understanding of the priorities and drive any actions/outcomes required and provide feedback to team and Business Partners as required
    • Work with our dedicated marketing agency to design effective attraction strategy campaigns including high volume as well as niche roles working within budgets set.
    • Use agreed social networking sites to attract suitable candidates and champion social media as a recruitment tool
    • Review job board usage on a monthly basis and feedback to team members and Business Partners
    • Plan, coordinate and attend recruitment events such as job fairs and virtual events
    • Manage the full recruitment process for assigned vacancies in focus homes and any regions allocated to you
    • Liaise with key colleagues to drive improvements in on-boarding and retention
    • Undertake and lead on recruitment projects as directed by the Resourcing Business Partner and provide ongoing updates and results
    • Through exhibiting appropriate behaviors serve as a role model to the wider team
    • Autonomously seek resolution to problems as they arise and implement any required interventions to resolve problems, agreeing with Line Manager if necessary
    • Recognise any potential risk or issues well in advance and highlight to line manager in order to discuss and evaluate and if necessary action

    Requirements

    We are seeking an individual who has previous recruitment experience in a healthcare setting and is able to demonstrate that they have lead on the following activity:

    • Attracting candidates into a care home setting via different methods such as job board searching, headhunting and other media initiatives
    • Working with senior operators to provide updates on recruitment activity
    • Using MI to help support a large recruitment team
    • Creative thinking to continually come up with new ways to attract and retain colleagues
    • Line management experience is desirable although not essential
