    Full time, 37.5 hours/week

    Colchester based, or remote with weekly travel to Colchester

     

    Excellent opportunity for someone with a communications background, ideally within the care sector, to step into a manager role.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for devising and driving an effective internal communications strategy across both operational communications and engagement communications, including organisation and sector news, with Operations and HR being your key internal customers. You will work on collaborative communications with the Marketing team and align to Care UK’s events calendar where appropriate.

    You will be excellent at managing timelines and working to deadlines, with a customer centric focus and an eye for detail when creating engaging content. 

     

    Criteria

    • Communications background and/or care sector background
    • Project co-ordination experience
    • A level education (or equivalent in relevant subjects)
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
    • Ability to work in matrix structures
    • Ability to adapt style to suit audience
    • Customer focused
    • Ability to write accurately with a high attention to detail
    • Ability to work to targets, always striving to improve personal and team performance
    • Shares a passion for Care UK’s values
