    We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who has excellent communication skills to support our accounts department here at Care UK. We are a leading healthcare organisation with over 150 homes throughout the UK and continuing to evolve with our active new build plan.

    The ideal Administrator will be someone looking to work within the accounts and finance sector. Care UK can offer fantastic career growth as well as support and development for those looking to expand and progress within this sector.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Opening and distribution of all Accounts Payable mail (post and email)
    • Scanning of all Accounts Payable invoices including invoices, credit notes, petty cash transactions, and employee expense claims
    • Logging scanning volumes and scanning control sheet data
    • Telephone and email communications from suppliers and homes.  Building relationships with our external suppliers and internally with our home Administrators, Managers and Regional Directors.
    • Registering of Accounts Payable transactions to the company’s financial system.  Accounts Payable receives roughly 10,000 transactions per month and we expect our administrators to register a minimum of 300 invoices per day.
    • Checking of petty cash replenishments submitted by homes to check receipts have been provided, that the spend is within policy and appropriately approved. This involves liaising with home Administrators regarding petty cash queries and communicating with Regional Directors over petty cash approvals.
    • Checking of the weekly AP BACs run
    • Filing and archiving to ensure easy retrieval of documents
    • Ability to type
    • Cover for absent colleagues
    • Other ad hoc duties when required
