The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring the assessment of nursing needs and subsequent planning, implementation and evaluation of care for residents. Working under the overall supervision of the Home Manager/Deputy Manager, you will undertake the duties of the post without direct supervision, providing day to day clinical leadership and promoting both excellence in nursing practice and an integrated team approach to the delivery of care.
About you
- A qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Competence across a range of nursing skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge
- Experience of leading a team
- Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a Staff Nurse
- Passion for customer service
- Effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen, as well as the ability to plan and maintain organisation
- Empathy for vulnerable and sick residents
- Passionate about importance of equal opportunities and dignity at work
