Billing Administrator
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Based: Colchester
A role has become available in our billings team reporting to a flexible and supportive manager. You’ll be based in Colchester with onsite parking and be part of a highly productive but small team to assume responsibility for all invoicing and billing activity for Care UK Residential Care division.
You’ll adopt and embrace robust financial procedures operating in a rapidly growing environment you’ll need to be able to welcome and actively participate in the management of change.
You’ll be a strong administrator providing support to the Billing and wider finance teams, you will ideally have experience working within a finance department and confident and competent dealing with high volumes.
Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite as the role requires maintaining positive and effective relationships with divisional and finance stakeholders, in addition to Care Home colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a high control environment, focused on reducing risk to Care UK whilst maintaining lean and effective processes.
Criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and wider team
- Administrator and data entry experience, ideally within a finance team
- Experience of raising invoices and sales ledger is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail when entering and processing data
- Comfortable with high volumes
- Ability to organise and prioritise a workload
- Strong team work skills
