    Contract: Permanent

    Location: Field/home based, national travel required (predominately across Central England)

    Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours/week

    Salary: Depending on experience plus car allowance

     

    Care UK have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated leader and practitioner to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our approach to care, specifically dementia care and meaningful lifestyles.

    Reporting to the Head of Nursing, supporting with the development and implementation of evidence based practice and provide support, advice and education to colleagues. You’ll support in the development of dementia care policies and related policies, audits, ways of working and ‘how to’ guides. You’ll be a key influence to standardising our approach to dementia care and meaningful occupation.

    You’ll work in accordance with local and national policy strategies, to ensure that individuals we support lead Fulfilling Lives. This means providing access to excellent dementia care and meaningful occupation that is innovative, dynamic and of the highest professional standard.

     

    What you’ll need

    You’ll demonstrate advanced communication, leadership and facilitation skills in order to deliver strategic developments across the business, showcasing these across external platforms.

    You’ll have a deep knowledge of care, dementia care and supporting meaningful occupation. A Health and Social Care background is essential and additional dementia care knowledge/qualification is highly desirable. We are open to what your background looks like whether that be from CQC Inspection, Specialist Advisor, or Social worker for example.

    You’ll be home based, but willing to travel with some overnight stays to fulfil the role requirements supporting the whole region on an assessed needs basis.
