    Excellent opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant to join our growing and dynamic finance team at Care UK.

    We are an approved ACCA employer holding Platinum Trainee Development Accreditations. You can be confident you’ll receive full training support to complete your accounting qualification with us, as well as continuous coaching and development.

    You’ll already have responsibility for key tasks such as management accounts preparation, including accrual calculations and accounting adjustments. You’ll be responsible for providing high quality financial support, the ability to create meaningful insights out of large amounts of data and ensure that monthly financial reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

    Established 40 years ago, Care UK is one of the largest providers of residential care for older people, with over 12,000 employees and more than 150 homes across England and Scotland, delivering care to nearly 9,000 residents.

    We are growing, with an ambitious new build programme, having opened over 40 homes since 2013. We continue to grow and are building between 6 to 10 homes a year, as well as continuing to invest in our existing homes.

     

    Criteria

    • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
    • Introduction into a Management Accountant role ideally in industry but we will consider practice backgrounds with a desire to move to industry
    • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and communicate meaningful insights to internal finance colleagues
    • Comfortable with all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
    • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise under pressure
    • Ability to take large amounts of data and provide meaningful insight
    • Flexible in approach and able to adapt to change quickly
