  • As a Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals in our restaurant-style environment, as well as for the cleanliness of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products, plus regulatory compliance. As a key member of the dining services team, you’ll ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed. You’ll also work alongside the activities team to cater for special events taking place within the home.

    About you

    Experience as a chef/cook
    Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
    Food handling course qualification
    Effective written and verbal communication skills
    Good judgement, problem solving and decision making skills
    Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs
    Effective time keeping and time management
