Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
Support residents with personal care and mealtimes

I joined Care UK and Manor Lodge 5 years ago as the Deputy Manager, where I joined because of Care UK’s incredible values which align with my person values. I love leading my team to work cohesively and help develop them to deliver outstanding and person-centred care.

Care UK has an excellent reputation nationwide, and I love the way they promote personal and professional growth of the colleagues. Since being with Care UK one of my biggest achievements Is receiving a Deputy Manager of the year award for all my hard work.

As a Home manager, I believe it’s important to be honest, have integrity, empathy and being able to self-reflect and use every opportunity to learn, improve and develop. It’s also important to have great communication and listening skills and be a team player.

My favourite part of my working day is getting to chat to the residents, relatives, and colleagues; it’s great to see how well colleagues are doing and get great feedback of our home.

In my free time I enjoy being a mum and looking after my cat and dog. I love to cook for my family and friends, watch my son play football on the weekend and spend time with my family. I love visiting all of my family back in Poland and I’d never say no to a cheesy rom com.
