A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.
I have 20 years of experience in health and social care, starting with six years of operational management in the NHS. After that, I had the opportunity to work for a provider of dialysis services, and I went from managing one brand new clinic to managing 10 clinics as a Regional Director across London. After six years in this sector, I had the opportunity to work in older people’s services.
After completing my last project, I wanted to work within an organisation that puts the wellbeing of its teams and the care and support of residents at the heart of everything they do.
A good leader supports the team to deliver on the promise we make to care for people’s loved ones. The role requires energy and tenacity, and you must be approachable and lead with a smile and integrity.
Delivering great care and keeping my team happy and motivated is my priority. I’m proud when I see team members develop in their careers and see the great outcomes for people we support at Bowes House.
I live by the coast, so outside of work walking and swimming are a must! I love to watch movies, cook, go camping and socialise too.
