You’re a caring, can-do person with experience working in building maintenance, as well as garden maintenance. Ideally, some of that has been gained in a care home setting. As well as being very practical, you like dealing with people. You’re happy building good relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors. You’re a multi-tasker who can work well under pressure and use your initiative to solve problems. About the role
So your role will be to make sure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard; undertake any ground maintenance tasks , keeping the grass cut, shrubs, bushes and hedges pruned and the site generally weed free. Where appropriate plant specific items to enhance the appearance of the grounds. Advise on specific areas of planting and general gardening maintenance. This role also will involve assisting maintenance person with maintenance work. Helping to carry out repairs and general redecoration work.

The purpose-built three-storey home, which is expected to welcome its first residents in autumn 2017, will feature facilities including a cinema, hairdressing salon, activity room and cafe. There'll also be wheelchair-friendly landscaped gardens which will provide a safe outdoor environment for relaxation and recreation.
