As a valued Care UK colleague, we provide a variety of benefits that will work for you at all stages of your life, job and career journey with us – we know that ‘one size does not fit all’.

Your skills and personal development are important, here’s an overview of what we offer:

Apprentices and our diplomas

If you’re a compassionate, positive person, we’ll help you build a rewarding career in the care sector. You could be a school leaver looking to start a career. You might be studying Health and Social Care at college or university. Or perhaps you are looking to change your career, return to work or want a fresh challenge.

As long as you’re committed and caring, we’ll support you through your learning. Our apprenticeships and learning pathways cover a range of roles; Health & Social Care (Levels 2-5*), Facilities Management, Customer Services, Professional Cookery and administration. As a Care UK apprentice, you will earn as you learn and we will help you gain nationally recognised qualifications. *In Scotland we support the pathways required to gain Care Inspectorate registration.

  • One of the only social care employers paying NLW to apprentices

Support Line... for your wellbeing

We know that balancing the demands of work, home and family can be tough at times and so we have partnered with Health Assured to provide you, your partner and dependent children (aged 16-24) with a free confidential telephone counselling service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service includes other support and advice such as legal and medical queries as well as access to a wellbeing portal and App. We really have thought of everything.

You will find out more when you join us.

Making your pay go further...

As well as competitive pay rates, we also offer benefits that when added up, save you money and make your life easier, whatever life, job and career stage you are at.

What will Care UK benefits mean for you? Below we have provided a list of the different benefits that apply – we have then worked out what the value of these are, for all roles and also for a nurse. We have used an average full time colleague to estimate the value of our benefits so that you can see how much these may be worth to you:
